Fall Concert

The 2023-2024 OES Concert Season will open on 2:30pm, Sunday, November 5th, 2023, with Maestro Beau Benson conducting Igor Stravinsky's "Firebird Suite" and Bedrich Smetana's "Die Moldau". Also to receive its Pacific Northwest premiere is the 1970 revision of mid-century American female composer Radie Britain's "Cactus Rhapsody". Finally, the OES Youth Orchestra will play side-by-side with the Symphony for a performance of Manuel de Falla's "Danza Ritual del Fuego".

Holiday Music Festival

The Oregon East Symphony Chorale will present its first full scale concert since 2019 with a performance of George Frideric Handel's "Messiah". The Symphony and Chorale, under the direction of Assistant Conductor Zach Banks, will be joined by students from the Pendleton A Cappella Choir and Hermiston High School Choirs in bringing to life this beloved oratorio celebrating the birth of Christ.

Guest soloist Eldred Marshall will join the Oregon East Symphony and Conductor Beau Benson for a performance of Beethoven's "Piano Concerto No. 4" at 2:30pm on Sunday, March 10th, 2024 at the Vert Auditorium. Also to be presented is Stravinsky's "Pulcinella Suite" and French-Creole composer Chevalier St. George's "Overture to L'Amant Anonyme."
