Summer Music Camp is in full swing at the Blue Mountain Community College campus in Pendleton. The students and faculty of the camp will be presenting three wonderful concerts this week for your enjoyment. The will be held in the Pioneer Theatre at 2411 NW Carden Avenue in Pendleton Wednesday July 14, 2010 at 7 pm Rising Stars Recital Come and support our students as they brave the stage alone (and with an instrument for support) to show us the great artists they could become. Thursday July 15, 2010 at 7 pm Faculty Frolic Recital Join us as our camp faculty from near and far treat us to their favorite music. Hear the magical touch of our professional musicians on their instruments of choice as they join together for string octets, duets, quartets and solo's. Get to hear an original Chris Thomas composition and enjoy the melodious arias of our vocalists. A concert not to be missed if you love chamber music. Friday July 16, 2010 at 7 pm Fabulous Finale Concert Come and see what all the hoopla has been about! Our students for the week are raring to show off all their hard work in a fun and festive atmosphere. Our Symphony Orchestra will blow you away with the 1812 Overture, Charlie Brown swings his bat again on the BMCC stage, Mama Mia comes to town, the Jazz band is all worked up for a terrific number and our young string orchestras have been working up their callouses for a great performance.
