Come and hear the wonderful sounds of music education in action with the A Sharp Players Orchestra, Preludes Ensemble and Young Voices of Eastern Oregon, as they showcase their talents under the guidance of Conductors Bruce Walker and Shauna Altman. Indulge yourself in mystery with the Phantom of the Opera, enjoy a classic with Mozart Symphony #41 and take home a little bit of showbiz to hum on.

Learn to love a little jazz at our final OES concert for the season. Join us for a special evening of Latin, contemporary, blues and jazz standards courtesy of LaGrande based band Red, Hot and Blue. Vocalist Karen Lee Deusch will soothe all your cares away to the tinkle of Matt Coopers ivory keys. Tap your toes to Alan Feves bass tones and wiggle your hips with a little Latin pizzazz as Teun Fetz shakes it all up on percussion.
Indulge yourself in the sultry tones of Greg Johnson’s saxophone for an evening you are sure to remember.

With Guest Conductor Candidate Dr.Anthony Spain and featuring Audrey Marier, violin
Conductor Anthony Spain, of Seattle’s Northwest Orchestra,
has selected the wonderful Brandenburg Concerto #3 by Bach, as his debut
offering. Concert soloist, Audrey Marier (violin) is originally from
Pendleton and excels as a graphic designer in Chicago. The sweet strains
of her violin will charm us with a beautifully orchestrated audiovisual and
musical interpretation of The Lark Ascending, by Ralph Vaughan
Williams. The concert will dance with delight as the rhythms of one
of Beethoven’s most popular symphonies, #7, take flight and soar to a
tumultuous finale.
