Chair SponsorshipsIn exchange for a tax-deductible donation of between $250 and $500 to the Oregon East Symphony, you may choose to have your name (or any name you wish) listed as sponsor of a particular orchestral or vocal position for the season. Donations by chair sponsors make it possible for us to provide musicians with mileage and per-service stipends, so they can continue to perform in “by far, the best rural orchestra in North America.” These are the opportunities for chair sponsorship available:

Playing for Keeps DonationThere are numerous ways to support the Oregon East Symphony’s Playing for Keeps Project.
Donation to the A-Sharp Players Orchestra, Preludes String Orchestra or Young Voices of Eastern Oregon Choir Your support will help to purchase music, and help with retreats and school tours.
Donation for Music Lesson and Instrument Scholarships Help our local music students go farther in their studies by providing them with the opportunity to get quality musical instruction and access to instruments.
Donation to OES Musician Scholarships These scholarships provide young people who perform with the Symphony or Chorale with stipends and travel costs for each concert that they participate in.
Sponsor the Family and Young People’s Concert This concert features two performances for close to 1000 regional students.
Donation to Young Artists Competition Play a part in providing this unique opportunity for our young musicians in the region.
Music Camp Each summer, young musicians from all over the Pacific Northwest participate in the annual Music Camp. The five-day camp features professional instruction and tutorials in a variety of musical disciplines and ends with a finale recital.This concert features two performances for close to 1000 regional students.
