Information

Welcome to another season of music and fun!
We have a very exciting season ahead, including a joint performance of Brahm’s Variations on Theme by Haydn with the Oregon East Symphony in November for the A-Sharp Players, and a Holiday Music Festival in December and Season Finale Concert in April for all groups. As always, we have two weekend retreats planned for the A-Sharp Players, two day-retreats for the Preludes, and a spring retreat for the YVEO Choir.

The A-Sharp Players and Preludes are open to musicians of any age who would like experience rehearsing and performing with an ensemble. These groups meet on Sunday afternoons in the Pendleton High School band room.

This season we welcome Bruce Walker who will lead the A-Sharp Players and Preludes. Bruce is a conductor and educator living in Prosser, Washington.

The Young Voices of Eastern Oregon choir is open to singers in grades 3-8. The group meets Thursday afternoons at McKay Creek Elementary.

We excited to have Shauna Altman as our YVEO choir director again this year. Shauna is a music teacher at McKay Elementary School and was the Beginner Choir director at the 2007 Summer Music Camp.
